Good News for Students, HEC Plans to Give Free EVO Devices

The government intends to facilitate more and more students. Laptops have been distributed in eligible students by Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. Now, another step has been taken by the government. To give access to internet facility to the students, Higher Education Commission would distribute free EVO devices to 100,000eligible students under PM’s Laptop Scheme.

HEC is going to purchase EVO devices from PTCL and these EVO devices would be handed over to HEC in three months. To avoid any corruption, it is announced that if someone sells this EVO device, PTCL would have the right to block the connection.

This would stop the sale and purchase of devices. The students having EVO devices would enjoy internet facility at every place now
